Zuzu's Petals runs on volunteers — parents, students, coworkers, and neighbors who wrap gifts, sort donations, and deliver Christmas morning to Kansas City families. There's a role for however much time you have.
Ways to Help
Every role below directly touches a family's Christmas — no experience necessary, just a few hours and a willingness to spread some magic.
Help sort incoming donations and wrap each child's wish-list gift in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Ride along or run routes on delivery day, bringing gifts, dinners, and decorations straight to families' doors.
Lend a hand at Santa's Workshop photo day, the Sporting Clays Competition, or Christmas with Zuzu at the Folly Theatre.
Help process applications and connect with partner schools and agencies who refer families to the program.
What to Expect
Most shifts run two to three hours, and we'll always tell you exactly what to bring and where to park. Group shifts are welcome for coworkers, clubs, and school groups — just note your group size below.
